"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I was torn as to whether or not to let Otis on the couch now; the vet had always said that jumping up and down would cause his long dachshund body to deteriorate faster. Well - I know all about that, and now I'm too damn deteriorated to do anything but sit on the couch - and it hurts so much to bend over and pet my dog that I'm considering letting him up on the furniture. The furniture that I ruined my body to pay for, to please the wife that I worked to feed until a month ago when she left me. I quit my job after that; told them I was gonna retire, gonna enjoy the golden years - but really, I'm just gonna sit on my couch and rot with my dog. Before I had spent too much time crammed in a cubicle and hunched over paperwork while my ass got fat, I was quite the looker. That's how I'd gotten a gal like Penny: one good enough to leave me when I got old. She would flirt with me in the breakroom - she would wear pink sweaters and faux pearls and enjoyed the fact that I thought they were real. She was my boss' secretary until I married her, promised to take care of her, and made sure she never had to work another day in her life.
